| Radiant Heating |
 |
|
The Romans were the first to use Radiant heat in 670 A.D. Caligula had it installed using Terra Cotta pipes. The
process is simple; warm water that is circulated in tubes under a floor. The principle remains the same today with
several quality modifications. Radiant heat is;
Comfortable - with temperatures warmer on the floor and cooling as that air rises you feel warmer all over. No hot spots and the heat is where the occupants of the house are and not on the ceiling.
Clean and healthy - Radiant heat does not dehumidify the air so in the winter the humidity is more ideal. There are no fans or blowers so it is dust free and noise free.
Child friendly - There are no hot surfaces to touch and no vents to drop toys into.
Unseen - Radiant heat is felt but not seen.
Energy efficient - Radiant heat warms the occupants rather than the room. Most people find themselves warmer and temperature settings lower than with conventional heaters. Lower temperature settings mean lower fuel costs.
At Brower we are experts with both Geo-Thermal and Radiant heat systems. He have placed tubing in floors, walls and ceilings. We have been in business for more than 25 years and other contractors call on us for our expertise in these areas. Many other companies are just now getting on the bandwagon and learning how to install these systems. At Brower you can rest assured that we have done the boot camp and no one is better suited to fit the needs you have.
