Home Upgrade is a statewide program that offers up to $5,500 in rebates when you make energy-saving home improvements. It takes a comprehensive approach and looks at all the systems in your home to determine what upgrades will most effectively reduce energy usage while providing you with a comfortable living environment.
Most homeowners qualify!
The Home Upgrade option will help you focus on your building shell to maintain a warmer or cooler indoor environment. Improvements may include attic, wall and floor insulation, duct sealing, furnace and AC replacements, and more. Your energy bills are lower and you can earn rebates of up to $3,000.
Advanced Home Upgrade
The Advanced Home Upgrade option goes beyond building shell upgrades and is typically more complex, involving deep improvements. A Home Upgrade Professional will conduct a comprehensive energy assessment using energy-modeling software to create a customized energy-saving plan for your home. Rebates can be as much as $5,500.
Owners of single-family residences, two- to four-unit townhouses and condominiums and two- to four-unit buildings in homeowners associations all qualify.
Air Conditioning Quality Care Program
Maintaining your air conditioner might not be something you think about, but it should be. Especially when you realize that heating and cooling account for 31% of your home energy bill. That being the case, it’s easy to see how important routine maintenance is to help your AC system perform better, decrease costs, and reduce the chances of it breaking down.
AC Quality Care Program is based on a nationally-recognized industry maintenance standard supported by the latest technology. To participate in the program, contractors must meet PG&E's rigorous criteria for participation.
Rebates of up to $480 are now available for work done by AC Quality Care participating contractors.
